in which frequency band? is it optic or microwave waves? and reflection from what? boundery of two dielectric, or a dielectric medium and a metal sheet?

marti

The reflection is controlled by the impedance (possibly a complex number) of the two media at the frequency of interest and if the wave polarization is parallel or perpendicular to the plane bounding the two media.

I'm very new to this field. Kindly send me as much information as you can.

Thanks

Dear moon,
I suggest you to read "Advanced Engineering Electromagnetics" by Constantine A. Balanis. you can read a review abou the book here:
**broken link removed**
it is a standard text book, and deeply consider the topic you are interested in. if you can not bye the book (or borrow it from a lybrary), tell me, hen i may upload some chapters.
