How mechanical load of any system is related with Motor capacity or drives power?

Load in Kg and Motor Power in Horse Power / Kilo watt

Re: Relation between mechanical load with motor / drives pow

calculate the power required for the load.
you know about the load and its power requirement.

then size the motor in terms of its capacity.
(mot pwr in watts =hp*736 watts).
