I was going through one of the specification of FIBER transmitter.....can some body explain me ....what is mean by modal bandwidth ?

Single-mode fibers are best for a low-loss transmission. This single mode propagation has a limited bandwidth. Check a good textbook and fiber-makers' specifications.
