Hello all,

What is the difference between detail route and search & repair ??

What is switch box for the same?
 

detail routing is done only after Global assingment & track assingment.
Global Assingment: certain set of our design is got converged to form cell structures called as G-cells.
Track Assingment: after G-cell r formed,router just tries to route nets in shotrest paths ,in communication with all other G-cells.
then detail routing is carried out by tool .
Search & Repair is doing a process of ECO's.
