Iam working on project called 'Hybrid bridge converter and inverter'. I have started from basic rectifier circuit. I am also done with scr bridge ckt. Now to design Controlled rectifier I am trying mosfets instead of IGBTs, because of low power requirements. I want to drive load upto(5 to 10) watt only.
I know the gate driving circuitry required would be complex, but still I would like to use L-C oscillator to drive the mosfets. I will use the RC delay circuit to provide the slightly delayed gate drives(in order to avoid shoot through) for the one of the arm of bridge.
Will you please suggest some modifications, or your ideas regarding this work? Any circuit dia. will also do. :?:
