regarding long simulation in cadence

i am facing a problem, whenever i am going for long simulation in cadence spectre tool.
when i give square wave,then after a long time the input becomes constant dc signal instead of expected square wave. since the problem is in input itself , i am not getting the output also. please suggest me if any option is there in tool.

Hi,

Try to give the pulse input at the Stimuli level itself. I did face the same problem once where, in the spectre shematic itself I gave the source pulse, but even i didnt get the output from the sourCe, then i set the pulse at global stimuli, i could generate the pulse. Im not sure what was the problem, could be because of the Cadence setting.
