regarding digital potiometer

hai guys

currentely we are using mechanical pot value of 10k,2watts,linear pot to control 40watts high power led. just i want to replace it using push button using ditital pot. just i wANT TO KNOW ITS APPLICATIONS.

A digital pot has a low power rating. It can adjust a voltage very well then the adjusted voltage can have its current amplified to do almost anything.
