The tool itself crashes a lot while working and when reopened, all the previous layouts with which i was working are lost. Is there any way to retrieve the layou back from the crashed software?

Thanks in advance..

If it has an autosave option, then perhaps it saved the document you were working on?

It may require effort to find it, because it may be stored in an unexpected place. Check the Windows list of Recent Places or Recent Documents.

When you have a program that crashes often, it's a good idea to save your changes frequently. Also select 'Save As...' every few hours, so that you have a snapshot history of your document, rather than have to rely on one copy which may become corrupted.
