Hi All,

I am currently doing PBC layout design for FOUR button Capsense Controller for CY8CMBR2044 cypress.

I want to know which type of button is this ?

Is it Through hole or SMD?

can you please share me footprint for this button?

It is very urgent for me.

please give Reply.

Thanks in Advance.

Looks like Neither.

Have you tried googling for the data on this?
Looking on the Cypress site at all?
If you did you would find this design guide that shows that they appear that they are done on the PCB itself.

In PCB design terms, the touch buttons are implemented as special components (or "pseudo" components) that have a footprint and a schematic symbol, but no BOM entry. Don't know how they are represented in your design tool.

Drawing the footprint and associating it with a schematic symbol is similar to regular components.
