Hello,

I have been studying a half wave rectifier circuit. A Schottky diode is used, and the single tone input signal is 5.2 GHz. The half wave rectifier circuit gives two different steady state voltage amplitude values (please see the attached .pdf file) when it is analyzed using Transient solver and Harmonic balance solver. Kindly advise me on why this happens. Brief explanation: The voltages at nodes V1 and V2 are plotted for the two different input powers, -10 dBm and +10dBm. As one can see from the .pdf file attached the steady state values for the two solvers are not matching. Is this due to the wrong usage of the solver. Looking forward to your reply.
