Regarding 24V 3A, Powersupply

smps 24v 3a

Dear all,

I am designing a Fire alarm Panel, for that I need 24V 3Amps SMPS Vin(90-280VAC).
Anyone have good circuits or ICs to get this.

24v/3a smps open frame power supply

Consider this:
90-240Vac-to-24Vdc@3A conversion requires some experience ..

I would look for an off-the-shelf solution that on one hand provides you with a proven smps power supply but in the same time is compact (open-frame, or removed from a “black box) and price-wise accepted ..
Your roll will be limited to make room for a third-party working device ..

I wouldn’t try to re-invent a wheel ..

if u use transformator and bridge diode, try to use LM 338. datasheet explains how to build your circuit.

I would go with the sugestion that IanP has given . It is most likely the first place youe equipment will breakdown is the power supply . So much easyer to just swop out the power modul rather than go for a component level repair . especially on site.
