hi everyone, for the last one year i am working on designing a UWB antenna in cst. i have few doubts on cpw port dimensions in cst mw studio.

1. is my port dimensions to excite the cpw are correct ? if not please correct me
2. what are the details we need to consider before defining wave port dimension to excite CPW
3. i have checked E-Field distribution of the defined wave port in 2D results. it shows line impedance of around 50 ohms at 6.8GHz. should i obtain the line impedance equal to 50ohms for all the frequencies ?

May you tell how I can calculate wave port dimensions

98.jpg...try it...!!!

hi....thank you for your reply, you drawn a red box in z11 vs frequency, what it conveys ?... in the same graph at different frequencies we are getting different z11 cant we get the same value through out the frequency range.
