redhat can support Sis665TX chipset ??

I have problem on MB .. I want to use Sis655Tx
this motherboard support IDE raid & SATA raid ... as I know
SATA still have problem on redhat 8.0 .. but how about news chipset ?
I want to use 655Tx if linux can not use SATA .. I can use ATA raid
and when I use WinXP I can use SATA raid ..

by the way , Intel release 915 chipset .. which linux support PCI_express ?
