This rectifier was constructed as a device for smart and knowledgeable people. It isn't equipped with any securities against short circuits of poles, exceeding 15V or overload. This is just a strong rectifier for temporary loading the accumulator, and alternator is to do the rest. It is not a device of 'plug and go' type.
The rectifier consists of:
  • a huge transformer 16V 30A
  • rectifier bridge 50A
  • ammeter
  • ventilators (there are two of them, because it is better for the device to be too cool than too hot)
  • auxiliary transformer
  • regulator on primary side
  • 30A fuses on secondary side and 10A on primary side
Tests indicated that the rectifier can be activated when the clamps are plugged.
A module that protects against overload can be added.
