Dear friends,

I want to learn more about device physics.
Are there any good books recommended for learning device physics??

Any guidance is highly appreciated.

Best regards,
Will

Hi,
For BJT you can use Millman and Grabel.
For CMOS you can use Grey Meyer, also Martin.

Thanks
shaikh sarfraz

Understanding Electronics Using Basic Physics, Ralph Morrison

You can download it form this web:

Added after 15 minutes:

another one
Semiconductor Physics and devices, Donald A. Neamen

Other excelent but I don't remember the title
Electronic devices, Floyd

I think
physics of microelectronics by Richard Muller is gud but hars..
Physics of microelectronics By streetman is Vgud also easyy..go for 2nd one...

the above given book is very good
and interesting

best regards

for device physics muller and kamin is the best book..
book by sze is also useful..

For basics u can start with Solid State Electronics by Ben G Streetman
For MOS book by Baker Lee and Boyce is very good.

Solid State Electronic Devices by Ben G Streetman
This is a very good book which makes you understand the concepts of all electronic devices without going deep into the technical details. Once finishing this book, we may look at more detailed books such as The MOS transistor by Yannis Tsividis...

microelectronic devices by Edwar Yang. Which uses a simplified, brief approach.

suggested if ur good enough:idea:

As srieda said, "Solid State Electronic Devices" is the best book I've ever read in this topic

Device ohysics by Tyagi
Phisics and modilleing by Muler
are gud..

streetman book

Streetman and Sanjay Bannerjee is a good book but can be overwhelming and difficult to grasp for a newbie. I would suggest Microelectronics Device and Circuits by Clifton G Fonstad. This is a public domain book, which means you can download an ebook for free. Here is the link DSpace@MIT : Works of Clifton Fonstad
