Recommend me hard disk image handling software

Hard disk Image handling

Could someone recommend good hard disk imagehandling soft for fast backup and restore .
The one I know is PowerQuest .

And is there console based application not requiring windoz to rely on .
Let say allowing to make backup to nonsystem disk and restore from there in dos mode from bootable disk

Drive Imge can restore from bootable disk. The program makes 2 diskettes and you can restore image file from the environment which the bootable diskettes creates.
It is good that if you have the diskettes it is not necessary to install the program. You can select wich drive to create as an image.

'Acronis true image 7" is considerated to be the best one !!!
