I am trying to design an op-amp that i am going to use it as an integrator circuit.
So far I have designed two op-amps: one is a two stage op-amp, the other one is a telescopic op-amp. Both have the same problem: they are suffer from undershoot problem.

Can anyone recommend me an op-amp structure for integrator?

Re: integrator (op-amp)

try with telescopic itself.
simplest of all............

integrator (op-amp)

Use folded cascode instead,
undershoot is due to big damping factor, just reduce the compensating cap a little bit

Re: integrator (op-amp)

thank you for the reply. i did reduce the load capacitance but the circuit still suffers from the undershoot problem.

integrator (op-amp)

If ur integrator is a CTIA you may use the first stage of ur two-stage OPAMP, it can outputs a very precision current to the capacitor, but it suffers low output voltage range. Good Luck

Re: integrator (op-amp)

hi
Your OPAMP has large phase margin (>60, about 80 or more), so it is undershoot system, please reduce phase margin to 60
