Recommend DSP books with less mathematical representations

hi evreyone,
sorry for the multi post but i really need to know is there is any books that handles DSP topics but involve less math representation like the book named DSP for Scientists and Engineers .anyway i bought another book called Signals and Systems for Oppenheim and it contained alot of math for clarifying the author's points.
in conclusion i would be gratefull if anyone can give me a name for a book(s) that handles DSP with less Math representation.

Mathematics is a must for understanding DSP. For beginners , Signal Processing First is a very good book. Also Discrete time Signal Processing By Oppenheim is an excellent but it involves math. U have to learn maths if u want to have a good command on DSP.

hi evreyone,
thanks for the replies evreyone.after two weeks of reading some of a book called Singal processing for Openhiem and another book named DSP for Sanjit k. Mitra ,really i'm having alot of difficulties understanding the relation between two signals from an equation.bytheway i'm not an enginieer ,i'm just a student at the faculty of commerce and a programmer ,i have a background in electronics .i have some experience in programming (6 years).anyway that is my background ,so what do i need to understand DSP ?
i mean math ,physics of signals .....etc
please advice with book names

if u are time bound i guess you should get hold of an engg student and ask or post here doubts wenevr and whtever occur....oserwise there is lot to learn and not all is required...or else go for digital signal processing by proakis and manolakis....read the preface ..u'll understand exactly what is required for understanding

well i'm somewhat time bounded by 3 months.anyway i want to know what should i learn to understand the relation between signals that is expressed by equations.i think if i do understand those equations i will understand what is happening.don't know how did u learn DSP ?i tried asking a student that knows about DSP (academic student) he kept insisting on just save those equations and do not understand them.so are there any good recomendations for books about mathmatics and physcial characterization of signals?
i have seen two books named introduction to mathmatics and advanced mathmatics i think for Openhiem or Shiffer.
any hints?

I kinda have a good foundation in mathematics so didn'y much realize it...so just read...understood....can understand ur problem....take up digital signal processing by proakis and manolakis...its a simpler and good book...u shldn't have much problem here...as far as maths is concerned if u r talkin abt signals only than there is a book called 'signals and systems' by oppenheim...have a look at it...just don't keep on buying books...save money for the required ones....the books u r talikn abt dunno abt dem...if u can put their isbn links here so can see and tell....start readin since u r time bound...and post ur doubts whatever and whenever dey occur
