receiver gain

My receiver doesn't have enough gain. I am missing 10dB so I want to put another amplifier after the LNA with at least 10dB of gain. Can I just hook them together in series, or do I need to isolate from each other with a small attenuator? I've heard in series they can cause each other to oscillate?

Thanks for the help

Re: receiver gain

If you have decently designed equipment, they will work together without any extra diddling required.
