RC concept(having Resistor capacitor in series and DC voltage source)

imagine i have voltage source and resistance and capacitance in series, i am applying DC voltage and current flows upto resistance and the inductive capacitance is infinity so ,it is open,my question is where the current will go its not a complete one??Y can any one clarify?

If you have a circuit with a voltage source then a resistor then a capacitor if the capacitor is not connected to the power return line, no current will flow.

all are in series ,so its RC circuit concept,could u explain it ?

at the start the current will flow through the circuit and charge the capacitor until it reaches Vc = Vin. after that there will be no current flow because there is no potential difference left....
