abbe resolution

Hi,

Just wonder what is the difference between Abbe and RAyleigh Resolution Criterion?

Abbe say 0.5 λ/NA while Rayleigh say 0.61 λ/NA

So what is the difference or what is the difference in approach?

u mean one (rayleigh) define resolution by analysis with a circular beam or the other (Abbe) analysis with a rect type uniform beam?
