coupled lc oscillator

dear all:
I have read the paper "concepts and methods in optimization of integrated lc vcos", and i am going to design a complementary crossed coupled lc vco.Now i have some questions on this:
1.what kind of simulation and optimization tool can i ues in this design?
now i have only the advanced design system(ADS).
2. how about the optimization process in this design on ADS?
Could any one give me some advice on this?
