I wonder how the whole security protocols work.
For example Microchip has a chip ATECC608B, that is used for AES security.
But I don't know how the whole chain works.
There are private key and public key. Who (where) generates those keys?
How is the public key exchanged with others? Where is the private key stored? In the chip itself or is there other secure EEPROMs for that?
How can a software use those keys to encrypt / decrypt data?
