Question: .wlf -> .vcd ?

In addition to
1) modeltech's its own vsim viewer and
2) Undertow Waveform Viewer,
does there exist any tool/utility to do the wlf to vcd translation ?

Modelsim can do .vcd to .wlf conversion through vcd2wlf

I found some workarounds to generate VCD files
1. Adding $dumpfile() & $dumpvars() commands in the verilog code
2. Using Modelsim VCD Commands and tasks in modelsim

Of course, workaround is dump the VCD file,instead of the .wlf

Then I can re-use the waveform/stimulus ?

Just as I mentioned in previous post,
www.model.com and www.veritools.com have thier way to
read both .wlf and .vcd files.
Furthermore, Modeltech provides the vcd2wlf utility,
so I think maybe there exists the wlf2vcd 8O

if your environment is still ok.
you can easily generate VCD file by modelsim
In my opinion, VCD file is much better than wlf

even in modelsim5.8 , there is no ultility to transfer wlf to vcd
