Can anyone help me on this question
A 120 ohms resistor is connected in series with a capacitive reactance of 160 ohms. Determine the current flow when the circuit is connected to 200V AC supply?

The answer to this question is 1Amp

How did you drive this answer?.. can you please show me the steps

Impedance = square root of 120 squared + 160 squared = 200 ohms. I = V/Z = 200/200 = 1A

Thank you, Now I understand
