Hi all, I have been using HIP4082 by Intersil to drive 2 pairs of IRFZ44N in a DC motor driver. Everything works well so far without giving me any problem except when I am trying to drive a very light load (<300mA).
It seems like the driver takes time to charge up the high-side capacitor and discharge it later which causing the motor speed (voltage) ramp up and down. I realized that it is because HIP4082 does not have charge pump integrated (few forum suggested).
As a result, I am planning to build a new motor board using HIP4081A. Before that, I would like to ask anyone for any suggestions on the MOSFET driver on my new design. Thank you
