analog computing

hi,
I want to search about VLSI circuits (analog or digital) used for mathematical computing. For example is it possible to implement one of the NEWTON's itterartin solving method by VLSI circuits? if yes How?
When I saw the "Analog Decoding" papers, I think how can I implement circuits for solving mathematical equations or optimization problems based on itteration methods.
Please help me.
Regards

Re: analog computing

i have not come across such application .
if done it is good .

the design is analog ic design.

refer a text book on 'analog computing'

you will get wealth of ideas for your vision.
