I have a psc motor on bench that doesn’t have capacitor attached. I instead have volt meter attached to those wires that normally attach to cap. Since there is no capacitor I can start rotation in either direction. If I start rotation in one direction I measure 120 vac but as I load motor with fingers voltage increases to around 128 vac. If I start rotation in opposite direction voltage starts at 130 vac and as I apply load it drops to line voltage as it stops. Also it is a reversible motor so when I swap connectors the effect is reversed according to direction of rotation. Why does it do this.
