My question is shown in the figure. After a divide-by-2 frequency divider, clk_1 will turned to be clk_1' which has half frequency of clk_1. clk_1 and clk_1' have the same waveform.
Now, if clk_2 is input to the same divide-by-2 frequency divider, what will be the output clk_2'? What will be the waveform of clk_2'?

Alles Gute,

The output will be 2 pulses as in clk_1', followed by a 4 clk_1 pulse "gap". The process then repeats.

Regards,
Kral
