Querry Modem: Data Call, SMS Call and Voice Call

Hi All,
I havent used a GSM Modem yet and I have to use in it my project
PLz can somebody tell me what is an SMS Call, Data Call and Voice Call??
And what is the difference between them??

SMS call - sending and receiving SMS
Data Call - data connection for browsing web page, sending/receiving email and other Interner activity
Voice Call - Voice conversation

Data call may be a circuit switched data call and may be packet switched data call "GPRS or EDGE and may be UMTS"
