QT Terminal , Can console be widget other than centralWidget

Hi , i am trying to change console widget to adjustable widget other than centralWidget in Terminal Example. Can it be smaller ? So i can add another widgets like push button etc.

Can you pls elaborate you question? Do you want to modify the inbuilt Qt Example (Terminal) to work for your case?
If yes I would recommend to
Use the example code as reference and create new project and implement your concept.
