PWM variable resistor design ideas wanted

I have a constant current source (10 ma) driving a pseudo resistor.

The psuedo resistor circuit I want to model is described below:

I would like the resistor to be variable in the .5 - 3.5 KΩ range
where the resistance is a function of PWM 0 - 100 duty cycle.
Any ideas ?
