Ok i got it,so battery will charged from output of diode coming from MOSFET,what will be the role of MOSFET here Switching?

You can control charging. You can turn charging on or off and even send charging pulses to the battery - pulse charging.

To start charging, send a '1' from the microcontroller. To stop charging, send a '0' from the microcontroller.

The mains AC is stepped down, rectified and filtered to provide the 16V input shown in the diagram. There's a point in your diagram labelled "BATTERY +". Going by that, that's where the battery + should be connected. The battery - should be connected to ground.

When i have connected the -ve of battery to ground the charge will go down?ground i have to connect common?
