Hello,
Is it ok if my LT3791-1 pwm controller is sat right underneath the power inductor of the boost converter? Its 650W, and vin = 18V , vout = 34V.
..ie the inductor is on the top side of the PCB, and the controller is on the bottom side, right beneath the power inductor.
The inductor is in a PQ40/40 ferrite core set.

Most of the flux will be inside the ferrite, and I will put a layer of pcb copper underneath the inductor, to shield the controller from the magnetic field, so now is it ok?
