Hello.
I'm trying to design a wind generator.
However, there is one special request.
It is to change the gear ratio of the turbine.
In other words, we are trying to cap the output of the turbine and electrically control the gear ratio of the turbine accordingly.
I'm trying to find a gear like this, can you help me?
turbine power is 500W.
thank you

Hi,

what about one from a bicycle?

But surely it depends on the expected gear ratio and the step count.

Klaus

A turbine with opposite direction can be made, sealed and filled with oil for transmission, and the gear ratio can be adjusted by the distance of the turbine. Similar to the dual-clutch gearbox of automobiles.

This may be more appropriate
