I am using the information from the third page here..... http://ferroxcube.home.pl/news/gate%20drive%20trafo.pdf It states that... N = ET / B.Ac.10^-8 What I dont understand is that I am used to the equation for a square-wave in a transformer being Bmax = Vin(nom) x 10^8 / 4 x f x N(prim) x Ac I am assuming that T (first equation) is the pulse time, so actually f (second equation) = 2T. This would presumably rearrange to N = Vin x 2T / 4 x f x N(prim) x Ac and... N = Vin x T / 2 x f x N(prim) x Ac My confusion is why I have a 2 here. Is there something I am missing.
