As we know that nearly all kinds of interfacing to the reciever in RC installation usually depends on the measurment of the pulse position to deterine the action to be taken.
I currenlty use the interrupt routine and 16 bit timer. I set the pic to trigger an interrupt on a change in the state of the RX signal, using the rising edge to start the timer (after reseting it to 0). The falling edge is used to stop the timer. Using a 4Mhz clock the means that to central point of the pulse is 1500 cycles.
I am interested in knowing what other methods are used by other users.
