When I read_sdc xxx.sdc in the PT, a error reported:
Error: unknown command 'set_dont_touch' (CMD-005)

What's wrong?
set_dont_touch could not be used in SDC?

Re: PT help

I see only one reason why it might have given u a error :

if you have not set a design name or the cell name properly, it would give you an error.

set_dont_touch [get_designs xxx]

first find the design which u want to set as dont touch in the current hierarchy and apply dont_touch attribute to it.

Re: PT help

my 2 cents,

is there any specific reason why do you need to have a set_dont_touch command during PT stage. I am not sure but i believe the set_dont_touch command is not there in primetime and available only in design compiler.

I agree with you during synthesis stage with this command but during primetime stage there is no significance with this command and even if there is error for this command i believe there will be no issues.

best regards,
