hi all,
im a real newbie to pspice, im using it through the orcad version 10.
Now as i draw a schematic for analysis and have just two resistors and a power source vdc, gives me errors that dont seem true:

ERROR -- Node N00950 is floating
ERROR -- Node N00885 is floating
ERROR -- Node N00939 is floating

now to me none of these nodes are floating, so whats the problem, plz help

Re: Pspice error

Hello EmbdASIC !!!

I think what you inserted capacitors in the nodes N00950, N00885 and N00939.
You try shorting capacitor by resistor with high resistance (GOms).

Re: Pspice error

What type of "ground" have you used?
As I know from OrCAD 9.2, there are three types of ground in library. You need ground with name 0.

Pspice error

you need the ground named "0"

place >> ground >> source >> 0

Re: Pspice error

yeah place a ground and u should be through with ur problem... i used to have the same prob when i started
