PS 2 port multiplexing

Can one PS/2 port be used for both the keyboard and mouse , using an external multiplexer,

i've that , i just want to multiplex both my keyboard and mouse to one ps2 port, want to know if it is possible, i.e the speed and power requirements allow this or not
