Hai,

Can any one help me in using the Platinum Resistance Thermometer sensors Please. I tried to use PRT1000 to measure room temp with 2 decimal places. And I used the appriximate increment of 3.85 per 1 degree temp rise in reference to R0(1000ohm) to calculate temparature.
But when i compared with a digital thermometer, iam getting diffrent values most of the times. Can anu one plz explin me the proper way of calulating the temp from the measured resistance.

Thanks

Will this help?...

Also look at....

**broken link removed**

which gives a calibration process in a working environment and includes a table of res/temp for PRT100 and PRT1000.
