dc motor
normally used) then u can connect a H bridge ic or construct one for simple forward and reverse control of the car
stepper motor: Here u need a driver circuit,which is a simple transistor drive for the coil excitation.
In the dc motor u'll be having less precise control, but in the stepper motor u'll be having precise control, and u can decide the step size also .
But with a stepper motor u'll be using 4 I/O lines and the only 2 in the dc motor( but i dont think this should be a problem with an 877)

i am using the dc motor and will be doing with H-bridge circuit.can u give me the code for controlling the motor from PIC16F87X.i am also planning to make the car wirless .For that i am making an infra red transmitter receiver.but in this i hav to keep alinged transmitter and receiver in the same line which is a problem.can u suggest me something else.
