All I am trying to learn how to program PIC controllers. I'm really not interested in learn assembly.

I have this project I a trying to do see the link. I'm using the c code to understand.

Is here a software that will automatically convert this to a .hex or .asm file?

How do I run this code in Proteus directly?

The software you're looking for is called C compiler. You can e.g. use free Microchip xc8.
