Hi,
I am using proteus 7.6 and trying to use a data selector IC 10158. But this component has some problem. When run, the proteus gives error: no power supply specified for net vcc2 in power rail configuration

anybody knows how to solve this issue?

Re: proteus error for IC 10158

Your powerrails.ini file should contain these.

VCC=VCC/VDD
VDD=VCC/VDD
VDD=VCC
VSS=GND
GND=GND
VEE=VEE
0V=GND

Else you have to add VDD everytime from configure power rails... menu item.

Re: proteus error for IC 10158

Hi Milan.Rajik

I selected my component (10158 IC) and then clicked on configure power rails in the design menu. There I saw the VCC2 (It was in the unconnected power nets list. So i clicked on add. It was added along the other two VCC and VDD which were already on the right hand side. Now, when i run my simulation, i got a different error. "No model specified for U4". U4 is the number for this IC.
I will be grateful if you can help further. How do i add a model to this

Both 10158 in my library says "No simulation model". Unless you are able to write your own simulation file base on the datasheet of 10158. The package on proteus is only good for drawing schematics.

You can try download LTSpice which is free and try yahoo group on LTSpice to see if the chips you wanted is available there.
