You use the "Find Similar Objects" command to locate all of the type of object you want to edit. Then you use the "List Panel" to make the global changes.
yes this is correct but there are many ways. You might also wish to use the inspector panel rather than the list panel as this one only shows common attributes much like the old 99se panel. the basic method is select the items you want to change then change them in the inspector or list panels(see bottom right hand section of screen for shortcut buttons) you could also write a query in the filter panel but you should read the help files on that first.
