Hello!!! Everyone...

I am using Mobile Phone battery as a source to power my circuit, but i need a protection circuit for protecting my battery, from overcharging.

That's is whenever my battery gets charged that protection circuit disconnects my battery from the charging point.

Can anyone suggest me a circuit or something else.
After searching on forum and on internet i really gets confused and found one solution to my problem.

This is S-8241 Series IC which is specially developed for this purpose.

If someone is having other way to solve my problem, then please help me...

Thanks in Advance..

Charging Graphs for Li-Ion battery :

Additional precautions for situations when charging Lithium based batteries (DIY chargers, self made circuits with Li batteries):

1. Dont leave unattended charging process.
2. Avoid charging process on high temperatures (45C >).
3. Dont put Li based batteries on direct sun or in car under windshield.
4. Immediately stop to use or charge defective Li based battery.
