I am working on a design where high density capacitor with a break down voltage of 3,3 Volts are used. I want to protect then agaist high voltage. I thoght about using zeners diodes for this purpose but the proccess I am using does not have them. I am also considering the use of normal p-n junctions is series (diodes) but they consume intensity before 3.3 and the shape of the I-V curve is not good enough to be used as protections.
Any idea of other alternatives to protect the capacitors or how to sharpen the I-V of a diode?
Thanks!
