hi there
i want to design a proportional valve controller that when i give a signal 0-10volt or 4-20ma it outputs a high currrent 0-24volt to a proportional valve.
any one has any useful ideas, a tech document,... or website ?

hi,
u must elaborate on ur spec.
what is ur input ? "a signal 0-10volt or 4-20ma" ??
what is ur output ? "it outputs a high currrent 0-24volt " ?????
what is ur application ?
if possible, try to draw the block diagram with spec. , such that others can know what's ur imagination.

You haven't specified what current is required.
If you don't need more than 3A then you can employ switchmode voltage regulator, such as LM2756 ( **broken link removed** ) and connect your control voltage (through an opamp, to give you full range 0-24V) to the ADJ pin.
To achieve 0-24V range you will need small negative voltage ≈ -3Vdc and normal unregulated ≈+30V.
If this is what you are after let us know..

thanx for your replies
my valve is 2amps with control signal of 0-10volts,but some valves which i saw also have a control signal of 4-20mA.
