Prolific PL2303 driver guide

pl-2303 driver

I am writting a firmware for an embedded USB host to work with a PL2303 USB-RS232 chip. I have been searching for some PL2303 driver or programming guides but have not found any of them yet. In Prolific website, there's only an overview datasheet which is not detailed enough to develop a driver for PL2303.

Can anyone give me some help on this issue ?

I have checked this website before and find some information. But it is still not detailed enough. I think I need something like an API to develop the driver of PL2303 but it's difficult to get that API from Prolific.
