I think 74LS07N was broken if you madeup potyo2-Schematic.
Check output-resistors from 74LS07N.
Sorry, im not good english becourse i from Japan.
Hope good result.

This is the last one (I hope). Did somebody try the potyos version as a debugger? How does it work? perfect, just fine, buggy? ...Thanks
@kenny_zhou
Hey! that's a P*otel Schematic, isn't it? ...Could you upload the schematic please (in P*otel format)?
Thanks

I'm sorry, but i have not tested it with 24F and dsPIC chips. I have tested it using 10-15 types of 8bit controllers from 12F to 18F, from 2V to 5V. Everything was ok with it. It must work with 3.3V devices, because it's output buffer is the same as the original's.Gonzakpo said:I was waiting for your answer about if the debugger works or not and you disappeared!

Check the connections between the 16F877 and your target. Do you have jumper on the header near 4066?PVladimir said:Connecting to MPLAB ICD 2

I don't know it's exact function, but is lights or blinks, when there is a problem in the usb connection. If USB is ok, it is dark.why does not work USB led?
For example: MC14066B from Motorola, M74HC4066 from ST Microelectronics, or the standard CD4066 from any manufacturer.why 4066 HC (what manufacture)
There is problem between the 18F4550 and the PC, or on your PC (for example you haven't installed the driver). There is only one firmware for 18F4550. In the ICD2 Users Manual (somewhere in the MPLAB's folder) you can find information, how to reinstall the driver. It the ICD2 is detected by windows as an unknown device, check the crystal freqency. It must be exactly 20MHz.Bleska said:Hi can anyone help me with this please ?
I have build potyo`s ICD2 programmer and I am using PIC16F877A and I am not sure that I have correct firmware.

ICD2 works with both 16F877 and 16F877A. They only need different firmwares. Both firmwares are in the pack you have downloaded.Bleska said:Yes I have jumper on the header. My friend who has ICD2 clone too told me that ICD2 doesn`t work properly with 16F877A. But as I have said I don`t know that my firmware in PIC is correct.
